Hello! My name is Sophia Dearing and I am an artist based in Raleigh, North Carolina. My work is rooted in a relentless search for beauty and truth within the world around me. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by the idea of uncovering what is “real,” a quest that once led me through religion, spirituality, and philosophy. While these paths offered valuable insights, they never provided the concrete answers I was seeking.

When I began studying physics, my world opened up. It not only allowed me to make sense of the world, but to discover an unexpected, profound beauty in its intricate systems. Through my art, I aim to share that excitement—the awe I feel about the laws of nature and the mysteries of reality—with my audience.
